About PU Coating & Top Coat
A PU coating is a thin, tough polyurethane layer applied over primed concrete or an epoxy floor. Aliphatic PU coatings do not yellow in sunlight and provide better scratch and abrasion resistance than plain epoxy finishes.
We use PU top coats for parking decks, ramps, outdoor walkways, sun-exposed floors near windows and roller doors, and wherever a matt or satin finish is preferred.
Benefits
UV stable
Colour stays consistent in sun-exposed areas.
Better abrasion resistance
Protects epoxy floors from surface scratching.
Matt or satin options
For a non-glare architectural finish.
Anti-skid possible
Aggregate broadcast for ramps and wet zones.
